transcripts to the LLCC Admissions Office, 5250 Shepherd Road, PO Box 19256, Springfield, IL 62794-9256.
- When your admission to LLCC is complete, you will be notified by mail.
- Students needing financial assistance should apply as early as possible each year after January 1. If you need financial aid, visit the
Financial Aid Office in Menard Hall or call 786-2237 to obtain the necessary application forms. The application process takes several
weeks, so be sure to apply for aid as soon as possible.
Special Admissions
Students under the age of 18 who have not yet graduated high school or achieved a GED who wish to enroll in college credit courses
are encouraged to take advantage of this early start option through our Special Admissions. The Special Admissions process requires
students to follow the established admissions, placement and registration procedures as required of all students new to LLCC. This
includes providing current high school/homeschool
transcripts, meeting ACT/SAT or placement score requirements and course prerequisites.
Special Admissions students may contact the Office of Admissions at (217) 786-2298 x:5 for course enrollment guidelines and assistance.
